San Francisco, CA—In yet another hardly surprising “blunder,” a female Apple engineer accidentally left a prototype iPhone 5 in a local motel after a drunken ménage à trois with two writers from Wired and Gizmodo, respectively.
This is the third such incident of an Apple employee leaving behind a prototype for a much-anticipated new version of the iPhone, and to some, this type of stunt is becoming worrisome. After hearing the news, UC Berkeley student Simon Chung responded with “LOL.” He went on to say that the move was “hecka dumb,” and that Apple’s marketing team “blows.”
A spokesperson from Apple has confirmed that the company is going through all the motions of investigating the incident, and that whoever was responsible for the leak will probably be sent to one of the tech company’s secret Chinese labor camps.
A few hours after the writers involved in the threesome came forward with the phone, the Gizmodo writer tweeted that the Apple employee was “way too hot to be an engineer,” and that “she was probably a hooker.”
